The Origin
From Chaos to Choreography.
QJay started in the back of a favorite local bar. The boots were itching to move, but the booth was struggling. A DJ who did not know the local dancers meant boredom, confusion, and a pile of improvised requests.
The booth looked like a failing air traffic control tower. Index cards, legal pads, shouted song names, and awkward walk-ups all competed for attention in the same few square feet.
There was also a social wall. Plenty of dancers did not want to look pushy, needy, or disruptive, so they stayed quiet instead of helping the room steer itself.
QJay exists to remove that friction. It turns the exchange between DJs, dancers, and venues into a clear conversation rather than a pile of interruptions.
